JUNK FOOD, The Friendly Monster Of This Era

When it comes to developing children, parents must keep in mind that they should also have a good relationship with them because the child has to see their family as well as the people around them. Parents do what they can to make sure that the child gets the best experience when it comes to social interaction as well as education. In addition, parents often neglect a certain aspect of their children’s lives or focus too much on teaching their kids how to do things in order not to be distracted, but instead, to let them discover and enjoy the things that they are interested in. There is nothing worse than giving your kid junk foods to eat a couple of times a day so that they will grow up to become obese and overweight. This kind of lifestyle is very problematic. However, this is just like any other type of child abuse is bad and causes negative behaviors in the child. Junk Food Health Issues can be one of the most common problems among all children and teenagers. The way the brain works also affects the way a person behaves. Therefore, this unhealthy junk food causes many symptoms in the body which include an excessive appetite, high fat intake, weight gain, and difficulty sleeping. These conditions are very dangerous and could lead to more health problems which are discussed below

Obesity is the biggest enemy

Obesity leads to obesity issues and diabetes, which are extremely critical issues that affect the mind of people, and eventually, a person might not perform quite as he did before. Therefore, junk food health issues and junk food addiction will always stay a large part of the brain if a person does not want any other option then junk food is the only option for people who want to lose pounds.

Side effects of Processed food

Processed food is the root cause of so many diseases and health issues in kids and adults usually junk foods are highly processed, they only serve to increase the weight of a person. This is why junk food health issues are usually associated with childhood.

Waste of money

Children who have grown up hearing about junk food will have no interest in anything else apart from spending more money on fast food because they are used to doing these things. That was the kind of mindset they were brought up in and so; it is hard to change them. They are used to consuming junk food without noticing and so they end up getting addicted and consuming a lot of extra calories throughout the day.

Hard on the digestive system

Fast foods contain a great variety of items, which include various kinds of carbohydrates. Carbs are stored in the digestive tract where they break down further into sugars and fats. Most junk food contains sugar such as soda, juice drinks, ice cream, chocolate, etc., which is another reason why junk food health issues can appear in a child or teenager’s brain.

Encourage the healthy eating habit

It is important to treat your kid right and try as much as possible to keep their weight. By having healthy meals at home, you are healthily raising your child and showing them love and the importance of being a good individual. Kids who are aware of what fast food truly contains or are exposed to one can avoid junk food in the future as well.
If the child is not aware of these junk food effects, they can get addicted to it and start consuming more and more of these types of goods. This may cause emotional and behavioral problems as well as lead to eating disorders and obesity. This then increases the chances of the child getting obese later in life. For example, a teenager who takes too much fat intake and also has a habit of drinking lots of water can become obese easily. People who are lazy in doing chores can become irresponsible when it comes to eating junk food, due to which they have trouble performing their duties as well as doing well in school. Adults who have fast-food habits might have a harder time dealing with their responsibilities and keeping their families happy. When a person becomes obese and overweight, it eventually affects his/her performance in school and at work. Junk food consumption is very problematic when it comes to academic performance, especially if junk food is a high-energy source. Kids that have junk food addiction tend to have poor grades as well as poor performance in class. These people can also have trouble concentrating on their studies due to overworking themselves. Teenagers who can handle stress and depression are more likely to be successful when it comes to academics and other serious tasks. Thus, junk food health issues about parents need to know as soon as possible because kids who have little or no knowledge of junk foods have more risk of becoming obese and overweight in adulthood.

To sum up, it's the responsibility of every parent to give awareness about junk food and its bad effects on health, there should be some serious action taken against promoting junk food, because eating junk food not only effecting our kids it also gonna harm the future generation.
